From Osaka/Japan, plant-based in Berlin.
Started making Mochi in FUKAMIDORI in 2020 to make people discover the wonderful beans culture of Mochi made with Azuki beans.

Starting make with the classic strawberry daifuku (ICHIGO DAIFUKU 苺大福), she also makes other creative mochi and develops her own mochi recipes.

A truly extraordinary opportunity to immerse yourself in the history and knowledge, and to experience Mochi making.

In this workshop, you will make traditional Japanese daifuku mochi using freshly steamed mochi dough, organic bean paste [azuki beans and white beans] and seasonal autumn fruits.

While making the mochi, you will learn about Japanese beans culture and the history of Mochi, and at the end of the workshop, you will enjoy your own mochi with a special selection of Japanese tea. You can take your mochi home and share with your family or friends.

Note: This workshop is a time to enjoy making Mochi, not a time to master making Mochi in a single session. Mochi made with fresh fruit is very delicate. They should be eaten within the day.
All recipes are vegan, gluten-free and use local and organic ingredients as much as possible.
